The Junk Dad is a family business started by RJ Krempasky in 2025.
In early 2025 RJ became a Dad as he welcomed his first child, a beautiful baby girl. He stepped away from his job as a Project Manager in home renovations to help with childcare. During this time he started offering junk removal services and The Junk Dad was born.

How do I request a service?

What are your service areas?
We're locally based in Downers Grove but we service the broader western suburbs of the Chicagoland area.
How much do you cost?
We don't have fixed pricing but as a small, local company we offer very competitive pricing. Our fast and free estimates are based on the size of your load or project.
How fast can you help me?
We can tackle most projects within 3 days of your inquiry, but at most projects will be serviced within one week.
What do you do with collected items?
Before taking anything to the landfill we work to ensure that eligible items are recycled, donated or otherwise properly re-homed.
